Welcome to a day at Röstånga mill with floral designer Britta Levin and felt-tip artist Malin Björklund. Here you will have access to locally grown flowers, create a flower arrangement, be introduced to marker painting and then paint your flowers. We will start with you choosing your selected flowers in beautiful colors and shapes. Britta has collected in buckets in advance and you can also supplement with some game from the farm and the surrounding nature. Then we are in the Orangery where we set the flowers to draw water. The building we call the Orangerie is a converted barn that is bright and nice and keeps the wind and rain out. We take a lunch break, cold and hot drinks and a simple lunch are served. Britta will give an introduction to how you can arrange the flowers in your brought vase or bowl. Bring your own flower fakir if you have one. There is also the possibility to buy a flower fakir (kenzan) on site, but it is not necessary to be able to carry out the workshop in a good way. Then it's your turn to create a flower arrangement and Britta and Malin coach you in the meantime. When the arrangements are complete, Malin talks about marker painting and shows how the materials work. Feel free to take the opportunity to have coffee while Malin talks. With liquid marker, water, brush and watercolor paper, we will practice brush strokes, color and shape. We take inspiration from the flower arrangements when we paint and Malin helps you capture the compositions in a playful way. Take home flower arrangements, marker paintings and new inspiration. NOTE: this workshop is held with Malin Björklund and can be booked through both Malin and Britta. The maximum number of participants is 10 people, even if only fewer places are visible on Malin's and Britta's respective sides.

Röstånga mill is an old mill yard just a stone's throw outside Röstånga village. It is possible to walk on a gravel road the roughly kilometer out to the farm. The farm is surrounded by water and beech forest, and here there is plenty of both wild and domesticated animals. There is a natural calm in the place and the feeling of being in another world usually comes when visiting.
