Hey! My name is Christian and I am basically a craftsman, with one foot in the traditional home craft and the spirit of the maker movement. I work with both traditional materials and techniques but like to test boundaries and see what can be achieved with digital manufacturing methods. By exploring the work of the hand and traditional materials, I want to examine the craft's being in a modern age. Within the maker movement, we learn from each other and from our experiences, just as in the traditional craft. I want to understand the connection between the hand and the brain and how we can make room for knowledge as well as the doing of the hand in an industrialized world and in this way understand both our traditions and the time we live in today. I am a trained home crafts consultant and licensed crafts teacher and with that foundation I now stand here and offer you an experience of crafts.
