About
A full day course in a small group in a small group (up to 8 participants) to discover or perfect hand building ceramic techniques . This course is perfect to get you started! It doesn't matter if you have never touched clay before, modeling is an instinctive technique. This workshop will allow you to discover the basic techniques of modeling: pinching, coiling and slab building to make your first pieces or improve your technique. You will be free to create functional objects such as a plate, a bowl or a small vase or decorative ones. You will also discover decoration techniques such as painting with engobes or carving techniques. The class will be hosted in english Who's it for? Beginners who are curious to discover clay work and initiates who wish to progress in their practice. We take care of the drying, double firing and glazing of your pieces. They will be ready to be picked up about 1 month after the class.

I am Severine Monsonego, also know as Oelwein, a multidisciplinary artist based in Malmö, Sweden. My work ranges from painting and illustration to ceramics, surface pattern design, packaging, murals and set design to create a various and consistant body of work. As an illustrator, artist and teacher I help other to learn and grow by developing their creativity.
