This workshop is for you who have already been to an ink painting workshop and want to develop further in your painting. We will work with liquid ink in all colors, water and brush on watercolor paper. The workshop assumes that you have a material kit at home, see list for further information. We will explore brushwork, mix our own color scales and work with composition. There will be joint exercises and also time for your own painting with individual help. The workshop assumes that you have liquid ink, brushes and watercolor paper. It is possible to buy materials in my studio at Bjurholmsgatan 3c on Södermalm. Purchases can be made according to agreement on day and time, usually weekdays between 10-15. You can also have it sent home for postage.
Malin Björklund is an artist and pattern designer. For several years, she has created patterns for interior design wallpaper, fabrics, porcelain and tiles. In parallel, her ink paintings have been shown in exhibitions. “Ink has always been my material and the technology I use. The inspiration comes from the plant kingdom and the classic East Asian ink painting's basic idea of capturing the soul of the image.”

Inspirerande att se Malin måla. Hon är otroligt skicklig! Bra upplägg med lite fakta och sedan visar Malin och man själv kan testa. Jag återkommer till ngn kurs med Malin. Tack för att ni gör det här live nu också! Karin
