Have you ever dreamed of trying to turn and create in clay?
Come to my workshop. With me, you get to bring out your creative side and create with clay.
In this workshop, you get to try out the techniques of turning, rolling and thumbing. We start with a review of the techniques after which you can create freely for a few hours. We work in a rotating system and take turns on the five turntables. You will have time to create some beautiful utensils such as e.g. mugs, bowls, candle holders and plates.
The price includes 2kg of clay and it is possible to buy more during the course.
The course lasts a total of 6 hours on two occasions. First a four-hour workshop and then a two-hour glazing session.
During the course, you dot yourself on a separate glazing opportunity that is offered during a weekday evening. If you can not attend then we will burn everything without icing.
We are located in my lovely new workshop adjacent to Logen Edsvik in Sollentuna. We are a small group between 4-6 people so it will be very personal and cozy. Coffee is of course included!
Please note
Wear soft clothes!
My studio is located in the beautiful castle area around Edsberg Castle adjacent to Logen Edsvik. You can easily get to my studio with the commuter train to Sollentuna station (walk 1.8 km) - alternatively bus 527 & 627 from Sollentuna Centrum to stop Edsvik or bus. From the stop you walk 750m through the beautiful Edsbergsparken.
If you come by car there is free parking 4 hours. Follow the signs to Edsvik.
Fika is included. Report any allergies.
The minimum number of participants is 3 people. Should there be fewer participants, the course is canceled with a refund or we will agree on another type of workshop (eg Turn together-- workshop for two)
