Try it out ceramics workshop where you will get a chance to create beautiful items from clay. When I found ceramics it changed my life, what if the same thing happens to you? In this intro workshop you will visit my atelier in an old beautiful building on Södermalm and I will coach you and share my best tips on how to create beautiful ceramics.
By the end of the workshop, after you have created your own pieces, you can choose from many beautiful glazes. I will then fire and finish your items that can be picked up at a later time.
We use stoneware clay that is fired at high temperatures so your products will be durable, healthy and dishwasher safe. The glazes are lead free and totally safe for tableware.
Materials, coffee/tea and snacks are included. Workshops can be held in English & Turkish.
Seden Atelier JordSthlm
I'm Seden Burcoglu and I run Atelier JordSthlm. I was a banker and treasurer for years and one day I was overwhelmed with my life based on working and consuming. I tried many workshops from pilates to yoga, from arranging flowers to tile painting; however, none of them ringed the bell until I touched clay. After the first day I felt the endless opportunities I can make with clay, I could never give up on this feeling. And it wasn’t that much … While believing that I have lack of imagination and creativity I discovered a new Seden who dives into the world of clay and forgets everything that happens outside… Now I invite you to the world of pottery with my workshops in my cozy Atelier in the hearth of Stockholm. Touch the clay and experience the pleasure of creating your unique pieces with your own hands!

Lärorikt, roligt och generöst med material!
Seden var bra på att förklara och visa utan att styra, och lät oss testa oss fram till vad vi själva tyckte var kul och vackert. Det är kanon att få skapa saker man aldrig testat förut.
