Wheel throwing – 5 classes - day time

Create your own breakfast tableware, coffee tableware or your own serving bowls! Learn to throw and glaze with a beautiful view of Stockholm's inlet. We will meet in an intimate environment with a maximum of six participants where you will learn to turn and glaze. The course is aimed at those who are in the starting pits and want to learn the old art of turning, or if you have already turned but need a new start and get help with centering and other techniques. No previous knowledge is required and we will go through the basics of turning and glazing together. The content of the course is tailored and largely adapted to your skills and interests. Through basic theoretical description and practical exercises in the ceramics workshop, we will during five occasions go through all the steps, from lump of clay to finished ceramics on the set table. You will learn centering, basic turning, loading, glazing and how to burn your product in an electric oven, creasing and glazing. The workshop takes place on five occasions, each occasion contains both theory and practice on today's topic.
