In this workshop you will get the chance to try different techniques such as turning, rolling, coiling and pinching. We start by going through the different techniques and then you will get to create freely with my guidance. We will work in rotation and take turns on the road six turntables. You will get to create several beautiful utensils like cups, bowls, candle-holders and plates. We use the best stoneware clay and it will be burned at high temperatures and dipped in sustainable glazes so that your works can handle the dishwasher and microwave. I will do the finishing work with burning and glazing and you can pick up your works after approximately three weeks.

Marine is the engineer from France who re-saddled into the world of ceramics. She uses her scientific background to her advantage in the creative process and during her workshops held in the studio on Kvarnholmen with a sea view. Her greatest passion lies in experimenting with new techniques and painting of the ceramics. Her specialty is bird jugs, which fill the shelves in the studio. In her work and workshops, she divides the process into clear steps to achieve the ultimate goal, which can be anything from a plate to a bird jug. The pedagogical approach is often appreciated by her participants.
