Just when we need it the most, nature is there. Join us for a forest bath at Djurgården. By making contact with the forest, we become calmer, have a stronger immune system and are filled with positive sensory experiences. Forest bath, Shinrin yoku, is a method that aims to become calmer, happier and healthier with the help of nature. Research shows that the body reacts with lowered blood pressure, calmer breathing, improved immune system, increased feeling of well-being, cortisol levels (stress hormones) decrease and we get an increased feeling of well-being. Shinrin yoku is a scientifically proven method that was developed in Japan in the early 80's to counteract stress and today it is used all over the world. Take the opportunity to slow down, be in the forest with open minds and let Forest Medicine really do benefit. Lisen is a certified Nature and Forest Therapy guide trained at ANFT (Association of Nature and forest therapy).

Lisen Sundgren is known for her broad knowledge of wild edible plants and how herbs can benefit health, well-being, taste and desire. For over 20 years she has held courses, continued her education and spread her knowledge through books, magazines, TV, blogs and other channels. Her skincare brand, Lisen Organics, was launched long before the average person cared about eco and she started early to talk about the benefits of staying in nature to feel better. Lisen has written several books, collaborates with several star restaurants, has made several international guest appearances and is passionate about helping people create their own relationship with nature and themselves.

Det var mycket härliga timmar i skogen. Väldigt avslappnande och det öppnade upp nya dimensioner med hjälp av Lisens guidning. Bra genomtänkta övningar som går att använda på egen hand framöver. Kan varmt rekommendera ett skogsbad med Lisen!



Härligt att testa Shinrin Yoku med hjälp av en utbildat guide. Lisen bjöd in till olika härliga övningar för att använda alla våra sinnen. Stanna upp, vara närvarande och bara titta, känna och lyssna. En välbehag av harmoni, avslappning och balans som resultat i kroppen. Jag kan varmt rekkommendera detta till alla och inte minst till oss hälsomedvetna. Det finns mycket forskning bakom metoden idag för dess välgörande hälsoeffekter och vi behöver stanna upp mer än någonsin och reparera våra kroppar och ge den en extra boost av immunitet.



Lisens härliga energi tillsammans med skogens krafter gjorde kursen mycket givande.

Dress accordingly to the weather! You should rather wear a sweater too much than too little. We'll move slowly and sit down a lot so you might get cold after a while. We gather at the parking in Rosendals trädgård Rosendalsterassen 12)
