About this Skillbreak
Learn the basics of DJing or work on your existing skills. We play on a Pioneer XDJ-RR and learn how the mixer works together with DJ techniques such as beatmatching and scratching. Further we go through simple music theory, how to calculate BPM and how to mix different genres, at different tempos.

Sush Vartanian is a DJ and musician. For 15 years she played the flute until she replaced it with the mixer. Since then, she has organized clubs, opened to both international and local rappers such as Mona Haydar, Dmar and Blizzy. She has played at Stockholm Pride, The Modern Art Museum and opened for Berlin legends such as SPFDJ and MCMLXXXV. "I'm passionate about music and will never stop experimenting with different genres and will continue to spread the art of mixing music."
