About the expert

Madeleine Lithvall is the creative director of her own agency specializing in fashion, lifestyle and beauty. Her work is characterized by humor, craftsmanship and an uncompromising focus on sustainability. She has lectured and held workshops at London College of Fashion, Proteko, Modeskolan and the Handarbetets vänners skola. She has been working with brands and magazines like British Vogue, Debenhams, Glitter and Odd Molly. Madeleine holds a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Illustration from the London College of Fashion and has also studied fashion design, couture and pattern making in Stockholm as well as advertising and graphic design in Sydney.

About the skillbreak

A unique workshop in experimental fashion illustration. Explore techniques, elements and colours and learn how to capture materials, garments, accessories, sensation and movement. You get the chance to sketch both a live model and fashion stills. This course is for you who have an interest in clothes, work in fashion, or want to explore and develop your skills in illustration.

Drawing pad (skissblock), water colour pad, coloured paper, pens in different sizes and colours, brushes, liquid ink, water colours, an old magazine and a book and a glue stick.
